Diprotodon optatum (female) - Women's Maple Tee
Fossil remains of Diprotodon indicate a range of body sizes, a fact that has previously suggested to some scientists that multiple species were present. Instead, it is currently thought that this is evidence of sexual dimorphism, where males and females of the same species differ in size and/or shape. Many living species of marsupials have larger males, so it’s assumed that the smaller Diprotodon fossils represent females.
